Low backs with intricate detailing – Maria Morris ‘Honey’
Stunning backs are an ever growing trend in modern wedding gowns. With your back turned to your guests for most of the wedding, brides love to have an intricate and beautiful design to accentuate the back as well as the front, wowing both their guests and their future partner.
Lace with a modern twist – Maria Morris ‘Skylar’
Lace is a truly classic look for bridal gowns. Heading into 2016 wedding boutiques are seeing ever growing popularity of using lace with a modern twist; delicate lace sleeves, full lace dresses in washed shades of blush and sky blue, and even three dimensional lace with lots of texture, layering and fringing.
On the 21st of December 2015 two of Marias designs were featured on Coronation Street. Carla Connor (Alison King) and Kate Connor (Fay Brookes) were both on screen in a scene showing them trying on Designer Wedding Dresses.
Carla (right) was wearing our stunning ‘Anya’ design. A sleek fishtail gown in a structured and luxurious Mikado fabric with a sequined lace over jacket. Kate (left) wore our ‘Estelle’ design, a softer design of ruching with lace, all highlighted with Swarovski crystals.
Soapstyle featured our Coronation Street dresses here. They said “Coronation Street – 21 Dec 2015
Carla and Kate had fun trying on two bridal dresses from a wedding shoot that Michelle had attended during Monday’s first episode of Coronation Street. Both characters looked stunning in the ‘Anya’ and ‘Estelle’ gowns that were supplied by Maria Morris Couture.”
